When performing an Advanced HVAC Tune-Up, our technicians focus on addressing anything that may inhibit the performance of your unit. By taking the time to ensure proper operation, they are able to increase your unit(s) overall performance. During this process, an Air Dynamics technician will:

Advanced Cooling Tune-Up

• Check the thermostat to ensure proper operation & change batteries if needed.

• Inspect all electrical components including relays, contactors, capacitors, Etc.

• Inspect & tighten all electrical connections and plugs.

• Testing for proper voltage and amp draws to equipment and its components including motor and compressor.

• Clean the drain pan, drain lines, and condensate pump(s) traps.

• Replace or clean air filter up to 1”

• Clean blower compartment.

• Clean blower motor and oil if needed.

• Clean the condenser coil.

• Perform a digital refrigerant leak check.

• Check refrigerant levels.

• Check and record temperature, pressures & splits.

• Complete system start-up and diagnostic assessment.

Advanced Heating Tune-Up

• Inspect your thermostat to ensure proper operation & change its batteries if needed.

• Inspect all electrical components including relays, contactors, capacitors, etc.

• Inspect and tighten all electrical connections and plugs.

• Test for proper voltage and amp draws to equipment and its components.

• Test heating safeties.

• Check temperature rise on heating.

• Clean burners.

• Clean combustion tubes.

• Inspect the heat exchanger and vent piping.

• Clean blower compartments.

• Blower motor cleaning and oil if required.

• Inspect temperature, pressures & splits as well as check your unit(s) overall operation.

• Replace or clean air filter up to 1”

• Cleaning of the drain pan, drain lines, condensate pumps & traps (heat pump).

• Change carbon monoxide (CO) detector batteries.

• Check and inspect electric heat kit (heat pump).

• Check heat pump defrost mode (heat pump).

• Replace oil nozzle (oil heat).

• Replace oil filter (oil heat).

• Clean oil pump strainer (oil heat).

• Complete system start-up and diagnostic assessment.
